Castello has comfortable rooms, a pretty terrace and, most importantly, a fantastic location 200 metres from St. Marks Basilica. It is 5 minutes walk from the Vaporetto (water bus) stop.
All rooms are air conditioned and feature Persian rugs and Murano glass lamps. Some rooms have a view of Venices rooftops, including the dome of St. Marks Basilica.
From reception an ancient staircase, dating back to the 1700s, takes you up to the rooms, breakfast room and the bar. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning.
